Google has released Google Classroom on both Android and iOS devices, providing a user-friendly mobile experience for both teachers and students. This could be instrumental if used in a 1 to 1 iPad classroom or for students with smart phones. Check out this video by Google on one of the many mobile capabilities:
How could this app be used in your classroom? Here are a few examples:
- Students may submit in-class assignments and homework from their devices
- Students can check their homework assignments anytime, anywhere
- Students who are home sick can submit photos of their projects or assignments remotely
- The class will be notified of upcoming work or activities via mobile app
